Debbie Nichols

Debbie has been with the Animal Clinic of Spokane family as a Receptionist/Office Manager since 2001. Debbie and her husband, Frank, have two dogs named Lola and Rhiver.  They have spent the last 25 years raising golden retrievers. Their daughter, Sara, is currently attending Midwestern University School of Veterinary Medicine. She spends her free time golfing and working in her yard.


Liz Kelly

Liz was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Marycliff High School in 1967. She married her husband, Marve, in 1968, who is retired from the Spokane Fire Department. Together, they have three children and four grandchildren. She worked for Dr. Sagerson and Hughes for 45 years and started working for Dr. Luther and Dr. Matt in 2006. She owns chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, and her much loved horses: Blue and Andy.

Janine Beghtol

Janine is retired from over 27 years in law enforcement. She has been married to her husband, Rick, for over 23 years. Together, they have two daughters; Rikki and Heather. They have three wonderful grandchildren that are named Colton, Kyle, and Rylie. Their pug, Neesha, is their other spoiled child. She loves golfing, sewing, and fishing. Janine works as a part time receptionist.

Barb Potts

Barb was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Central Valley High School in 1970. She is married to her husband, Ted, who works for the U.S. Postal Service Vehicle Maintenance. Together, they have two sons, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She worked for Rosauers Supermarkets for nearly 30 years and started working for Dr. Matt and Dr. Luther in 2008. They have four cats and two horses: Bobby-O and Joe.

Jandi Entwistle

Jandi is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from Yakima Valley Community College in 2002. She has been a part of the Animal Clinic of Spokane family since 2013. She has been married to Jason for over 10 years. She has a step-son, Jacob, and together they have a set of twins: Ryker and Tannah. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her garden and hiking the trails of the greater Spokane area. They have two dogs and two cats.

Alana Moss

Alana worked as a Veterinary Technician in Denver, CO where she lived for over four years and went to school for her Veterinary Science and Technology degrees.  She moved back to Spokane in 2009 and joined the ACS team.  Alana's interests are in anesthesia, dentistry, and clinical sciences.  She and her husband, Sean, have a son named Mason, a lab/chow, Payton, and a tuxedo cat, Mugsy.  They enjoy spending time as a family doing anything outdoors.

Rachel Taylor

Rachel was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She has been part of the Animal Clinic of Spokane family as a Veterinary Assistant since 2010. She recently got married to her best friend and love of her life, Neil in 2015. They are expecting their first child. The two of them own a yellow Labrador named Buck. He comes to work with Rachel every day. When they are not at work, they love traveling, camping, kayaking, and fishing.

Sara Nichols

Sara is a graduate of Washington State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Pre-vet.  She has been a part of the Animal Clinic Family for the past 10 years and considers the clinic her second home.  She is attending Midwestern University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Sara competes in Dock Dogs with her two golden retrievers: Lola and Rhiver. She loves spending time with family and friends! 



Clara Durheim

Clara has lived in the Nine Mile Falls area her entire life. She graduated from Reardan High School in 2013. Shortly after graduation, she joined the Animal Clinic of Spokane team. She is currently attending online school to become a Veterinary Technician. In her spare time, she enjoys helping out on her parent’s cattle/bison ranch and riding her horse, Buddy. She has a brown long-haired cat named Ragnar.

Janelle Magditz

Janelle grew up in New York, moving all over the state from the city to the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. In 2007, her family moved to Washington and she is happy to call it home. Her love of animals was instinctual for her. From hamsters to horses, she has owned almost all of it. Her first job in high school was as a Stablehand. Upon graduating high school, she pursued her Veterinary Assistant Certificate and started working in clinics upon completion in 2011. She aspires one day to get her Veterinary Technician degree. Outside of Animal Clinic of Spokane, she enjoys being outdoors fishing and being with her beloved pets; three dogs named Teaka, Diesel, and Monty, and three rescued cats named Manning, Nova and Keller.
